ABOUT

US

The Little Barford Garden Community will be delivered by Lands Improvement.

Our role is to take Little Barford Garden Community from conception all the way through to the delivery of the new homes, schools, health facilities, parks, green spaces, footpaths, community buildings and other facilities.

We work closely with communities to deliver places that will continue to benefit the people who live there, for many years to come.

Single
Ownership
for Delivery

As the entire estate is under the sole ownership of Lands Improvement we are in the privileged position of being able to shape a new community alongside local stakeholders..

It is our intention for this impact to be as positive an experience as possible, and this means playing a leading role in creating places where people love to live; now and in the long-term.

Our influence comes from the places we develop, the people we work with and existing research into the way placemaking is evolving. Everything we develop – including our tools, processes and ways of working are focused on remaining true to creating great places for people to enjoy living in.

LINMERE

Linmere is being delivered by the Linmere Consortium, led by Lands Improvement.

As the Master Developer for the site, we are delivering the site’s essential infrastructure, overseeing the entire development process, and committed to creating an enjoyable environment that stands the test of time.

We have already delivered brand-new community facilities, open spaces, and retail space. Plus, there is a state-of-the-art primary school located on the development that has opened.

Development
of Linmere

Over the next 15 years, around 5,000 homes of mixed size, price and tenure will be available in a series of interlinked neighbourhoods that connect people with nature and enable and promote activity and relaxation alike. Creating a sense of place, community and belonging for all residents.

We will apply the same model at Little Barford, remaining involved until the community is fully developed, and a long-term sustainable governance structure is in place to ensure the quality of delivered place remains in perpetuity.
